Long time gone....

My apologies for my negligence with the blogging the last few weeks. Life has been absolutely crazy with the holidays. I was in California for ten days and before that things were just so busy in New York. It seemed like every weekend there were parties, and during the week there were different events. Honestly, I haven't had a moment to breath until tonight, and even now I'm feeling exhausted. I was falling asleep on the futon by 8:30pm and honestly could have gone to bed. It was SO hard to get up and go to work today. I slept most of New Year's Day away, and then was still on west coast time, so attempting to go to bed last night at midnight didn't work out too well. I finally fell asleep around 3am. Like I said, getting up this morning was totally brutal.
After I didn't let myself just go to bed when I was falling asleep I promised myself I'd be in bed by 10pm, and here it is, 9:58pm and I'm still on the futon, blogging, and getting angry at gmail because it won't let me send my email of photos/videos to my family. Maybe I don't use it enough but I honestly don't get the rave about gmail; hotmail was so much easier.
ANYway, I have so much to catch up on in regards to blogging, so I guess I'll try and update little by little throughout the week. Oh yeah, and I have a little more access to blogger at work (some of you may have noticed comments popping up from me during the workday-woo hoo!); stay tuned to see if I can blog....if it works out the updates will be coming sooner than later!
In the mean time, here's a sneak peak at what I intend to blog about:
  • My HSBC company party
  • The NYC ballet Nutcracker
  • Other fun Christmas in NY stories
  • Christmas in California
  • New Year's Eve
  • 2007 year in review
  • The weight loss competition I'm doing at work
Okay, maybe that's not as much as I thought it was going to be, but the posts about Christmas and New Year's will be big. Also, I still haven't posted about when Chelse came to visit back in November. Seriously, I am slacking. I'm sorry!
Stay tuned.....I think I'm most excited about the NYNY post (New York New Year's.) Seriously. Amazing.
Lastly, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
