Sick

The world will feel like a sauna today, as high temperatures and heavy humidity combine to create a hot, sticky atmosphere for the New York City area and surrounding suburbs.Today and tomorrow, the thermometer will exceed 90 degrees, and the humidity will make it feel more like 100 in Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties. A heat advisory has been issued for New York City from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. today.

(Thanks Kathryn, hope you don't mind I stole this from your blog. I had to document this.)

Love your blog! We miss you in Cali, but it is good to see that you are enjoying NYC. Did you go see Stephenie Meyer today at the Good Morning America Studio? If I lived in NYC that is what I would have done today!

I tried for 2 hours to get to work this morning. It didn't work.

I came home and took a shower as soon as I walked in the door. This humidity is killing me!!!

You're not alone when it comes to heat and humidity... In houston yesterday it was 96 with a heat index of 108. One good thing we have over you is we leave air conditioning and go to our cars with air contioning. We don't have to walk everywhere. My heart goes out to you. I think the humity is worse back east than here in Houston. I just remember when we lived there the air felt so heavy. I don't get that feeling here in Houston. I hope you survive. Good Luck!!! Don't melt away!!!!
