Brad in the city

I'm loving the fact that my brother now travels to the city at times so we can meet up for dinner.

He was here last night and had to try Shake Shack after all the raving I've done. For me, it wasn't the best night for the burgers unfortunately, however the fries and concretes were AMAZING. Mmmm, peanut butter. I could so go for one right now. :)

I was really embarrassed because I made so many stupid subway mistakes. It was like I'd just moved here or something. No one ever believes you when you say, "I swear this never happens." Haha, especially when there's mistakes made when going both uptown and downtown. Woops, sorry again Brad.

We were lucky to get down there and stay dry because the rain was looming, but that also made for a short line. Yay! We were able to walk through the village on our way up and see a really sweet drag queen and what looked like a robbery. It happened so fast, but we think some guy ripped off a backpack from someone or somewhere. It didn't seem like there was any victum but we don't know where a random backpack would have come from. It was a strange experience and you have to have been there to understand what I mean.

We also ran into my girlfriend KaRyn. I love that there's 8,000,000 people in New York City and you still run into people you know. Of course the first thing KaRyn said when I introduced her was, "You guys look exactly alike!" I used to get that all the time when I was with my sister Rebecca, but Brad and I are getting it more and more.

We had a great time chatting and, of course, laughing. Anyone in my family will tell you when Brad and I get together we laugh a TON. For some reason we always wind up getting so loopy and before the night's over, without fail, will end up hunched over, red-faced, and out of breath because we can't control our hysterics. Ususally everyone around us just stares. I love it.

I can't wait for the next time Brad comes down to the city. Thanks Brad!!

I feel that Brad has taken the weight loss goal too far. He looks like a cancer victim in the picture of him and Rachel at the dinner table. Have you ever seen the show INTERVENTION? PLEASE EAT BRAD!!!
