Happiness is

You can't see it but the Statue of Liberty is in view (behind the fence.)  I finally finished Eat Pray Love.  There were some dreadfully slow parts that were tough to get through, but also some wonderful and inspiring parts that gave me a lump in my throat while I read on the subway and made me vow to change some things in my life.  Good read.

PS I went to Britney Spears last week and the Killers this week.  One show was disappointing, another was epic.  I'll let you decide which was which.

I have been wanting to read Eat, Pray Love. I am hoping that the Killers was the epic show.

I'm almost done with Eat, Pray, Love. LOVE it, but yes, there are some slow parts. And yes, I too have had the lump in my throat a time or two. And what do you know, I'm actually drinking a bit of DP as we speak! Mixed with DC that is. You should try it some time. Now that this baby is out of my body, I'm enjoying my caffeine intake once again!

I've been reading it for awhile now. Loved the Italy part, hit a wall in the Indian Ashram (boring), but don't want to give up on it so I'm powering through, hoping it will pick up again.

I liked the book. Julie Roberts is filming the movie right now. I can buy her as Elizabeth Gilbert.

What a great picture!

Glad you finally finished the book. I've read it twice (although second time was for book club meeting). Liked it a lot but didn't love it. Heard she's coming out with a second book soon--life after marriage to whatshisname.
