Duck Beach: Day 3, Sunday

Sunday started off with church, which was quite the experience.  It was in a church about 45 minutes away.  When we arrived there the darling older men were outside directing traffic, for us to park on the grass and everywhere else they could find space for all of us.  It reminded me of Stake Conference.  This is a big deal for them every year and they always prepare for us all to come.
The inside of the building was such a sight to see.  Every single room in the place was filled with chairs, and every hallway was filled with people standing, or sitting on the floor if they could find space.  It was amazing.  The used 18 deacons to pass the Sacrament, and used 650 Sacrament cups.  It was pretty cool.  The best part of the meeting was when we'd sing hymns.  It was the most amazing thing I've heard because people were singing from every corner of the building and the Spirit was so strong.  It just filled my heart and overwhelmed me, especially when we sang the closing him, I Believe in Christ, which is one of my favorites.
It was a just a 90 minute meeting and that was in for the day.  All the speakers were really great.

Seven of us girls shared the master bathroom.
This is the back deck (which wrapped around the house) of our place.  Everyone ate their breakfast outside.  So nice.  It was amazing to just be able to just walk out the sliding door and see an endless ocean.

Like I said, seven of us....

Taylor and me on the deck.

After church we headed to Sun Terra for crepes.  SO GOOD.  Then everyone kind of did their own thing.  Curtis and I headed over to his place to attempt to take a nap, which didn't work out too well.  I was seriously so tired from the late night and then getting up about three hours later for church.
The party was held that night at Sun Terra.  It started off with an acoustic night where there were a lot of performers and a lot of talent.  After that there was a dance party and of course, the cops broke it up again.  (This was the night the table broke.)  I, however, missed it all because I was asleep.  I was at my breaking point of no sleep so I had Curtis take me home to Pine Haven and the second I laid down on my bed about 11pm I was out.  I was sad I missed the acoustic night, but I needed an "early" night to bed.
