She may have just redeemed herself. Have you seen the Twilight movie? I'll admit, I watched it aaaaaand it was WAY worse than the book if you can even imagine it. Still don't understand it.

Good posts tonight!

I will admit, so it doesn't seem like I'm just knocking the "twilight saga" without knowing anything about it, that I did read Twilight almost three years ago. Way back before there was talk of a movie, or a second, third, or FOURTH book, or anyone had really heard of it. It came as a recommendation from a friend. I read it, and did not like it, which is why I was so confused and (sorry to all the fans) jumped on the hater train when it blew up to be what it has become.
I went kicking and screaming to the movie because my darling sisters-in-law wanted to go. Yes, the movie was REEEE-diculous, but at least the three of us got some really good laughs out of it. (Note, neither of them are not die hards. They'd just read the books. Both work with the youth and were interested in what their kids were reading.)

Kim, I too have never read a page of Harry Potter. I don't really have any desire, but have more respect for that series, and I think it's probably better literature. The fact than men and women alike of all ages genuinely enjoy the books says something to me. Maybe one day I'll pick one up and wonder what took me so long.

*Correction, I meant neither of them ARE die hards. :)
